Vintage Bliss #2 Class 30th August, 2013

This weeks class is using the Vintage Bliss range by Simple Stories.  

You will be able to use some of your leftovers from the previous class so remember to bring along your sticker sheet and leftover paper. 

You will need a 4" x 6" landscape photo for the first layout and five 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" photos for the second. Bring along your usual tools trimmer, scissors, double sided tape, foam tape, Helmar 450 glue and if you have a set of the Antique buttons from Stampin Up that have previously been used on pages bring them along too.

August Copic Lover's Day, 24th August

An update on the upcoming Copics workshops this Saturday, a sneak peek of the cards we will be making and a list of the colours I have used!

Saturday the 24th August, 

Two classes- 9am and 12.30pm

For this one , we are using the lighter colours (000's) we used on the Carousel horse last month, colouring the balloons as if they are semi-transparent- fun fun fun!!

A retake on the Minnie card I showed you last month, this one has both Minnie and Mickey together!

If Minnie and Mickey are not up your alley, please advise Di by Wednesday the 23rd and I will include an alternative image for you colour!

The colours I have used in both projects are:

E000, E00, E11, E35, E37, E57, E59

Y000, Y00,Y02, Y06, Y08,  Y11, Y17

R02, R22, R27, R29, R59

B000, B00, B02, B05

YR000, YR00, YR02, YR68, YR07

G000, G00, G02

BG10

If you are are colouring the alternative image, you will also need to bring along your hair colours- E31, E33, E35 & E37

Remember the colour choice is totally up to you, mine is only a suggestion! 

Please bring along to the class,  your:

• Paper trimmer
• fussy cutting scissors
• ruler
• scalpel or blade 
• double sided tape
• Foam tape
• Copic Markers - if you have some, (please make sure they are labelled)
• As always your Passion for colouring!

As always the colours are changeable, you can colour with any combination you wish!

Tuesday, 20th August ~ Christmas Stocking cards ~ 10am
These too cute cards are fun to make and will be fun to give, instead of adding a "Merry Christmas" greeting you could add your child's name to make it extra special.

Due to computer problems this notice is late so will repeat the class 

on Friday at 10.30am & 7pm, 23rd August, just let me know in advance

Friday, 23rd August ~ "Blast Off" layout by Lyn
Bring along your basic kit, distress inks - Barn door, black soot or chipped sapphire if you have them.
You will need your fussy scissors & 2 portrait photo's 6 x 4",
Lyn loves to create her own backgrounds using inks, stamps and textures so come along and join us this Friday for this layout.  Papers can be changed to suit girls if you prefer.

Drop by and view Project life albums, page refills and paper ranges with embellishments.
Don't know what Project Life is, then come along and have a chat and l can take you through it.
New Fab Scrap ranges in stock - pale pink and pale blue.

Hi Ladies this week we have a class for you using the very girly Simple Stories Vintage Bliss range. 

I have a double page layout for you. 

You will need a 4" x 6" landscape photo and a 4" x 4" photo for the first layout and 2 4" x 6" portrait photos and a 4" x 4"photo for the second layout. 

Bring your usual tools: trimmer, ruler, scissors, double sided tape and foam mounting tape. You may also want to include some brown distress ink.

Join us this Friday from 10am or in the Evening from 6.30pm for a Fun filled session with lots of laughter and give-aways as l challenge you with a Mystery Layout Sketch or two and we also have a Mystery Challenge for all of the Cardmakers out there too!

Just let me know when you book in if you would like to join the Mystery Sketch Layout 

Challenge #1 or #2 or the Card makers Mystery Challenge.  

Or why not do all 3!

Cost is the same as Scrap'n'Chat ~ $6 per person

So grab a few friends and joins us for some fun!

At the end of the session we will be able see all the different interpretations of the same Sketch.

Layout Challenge # 1~ Double Layout

Bring along your own supplies, you can purchase papers and items on the night and your photo's.

Page One has room for 2 photo's - 4" x 4" & 4 x 6" portrait,

Page 2 has room for 3 photo's - 2 - 4" x 4"& 4 x 6"landscape.

Layout Challenge # 2 ~ Single Layout

Bring along your own supplies, you can purchase papers and items on the night and your photo's.

You will need 3 photo's ~ 3.25" x 2.5", 4 x 3" & 4 x 6".

Card Challenge

You supply the papers and accessories, l give you the Mystery Sketch to follow.

So come along and join in the Challenge.
